Sheldon, William L.

Monday, January 23, 2012

William “Bill” Louis Sheldon, 48, of Chester passed away on Monday, January 23, 2012. He was the son of the late James P. Sheldon. Bill was the owner and operator of Bill Sheldon and Associates, and was internationally known for his expertise in the pool and spa industry. He was loved by so many for his unconditional kindness and generosity; so many called him their “second dad”. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Peck Sheldon; four children, Bailey Paul and Lydia Maria Elizabeth Sheldon, Ashley Summer and Lindsey Nicole Peck; his mother, Karen Sheldon; and multitudes of other family and friends, too many to mention. All services will be private. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. In lieu of flowers, Bill’s character was always to help someone else, so in honor of him, please do a kind thing or a friendly gesture to someone to continue on his unwavering compassion and love he showed everyone he met. Condolences

I was so sad to hear of Bill's passing. Although I haven't seen him for sometime, I always smile when I think of him. We shared so many hours on J C projects. He will be missed by so many. God has another angel. RIP Bill.

Lisa, Ashley and Lindsey....I am so sorry that you are going through this very difficult time. Please know that I am thinking of you. I met Bill when Daisey was sick and he was so compassionate and helped the whole family then through a difficult time. I know he will be missed. My heart and prayers go out to all of you.

Bill Sheldon was a genuinely nice person with whom to share company. Some years ago on a number of Tuesday nights - too many to count - we would enjoy the camaraderie offered by a group of many common friends, sharing tall tales from our pasts. Bill could often be found right in the center of many of those discussions. He will be dearly missed.
