William "Bill" Louis Sheldon

Monday, January 23, 2012

William “Bill” Louis Sheldon, 48, of Chester passed away on Monday, January 23, 2012. He was the son of the late James P. Sheldon. Bill was the owner and operator of Bill Sheldon and Associates, and was internationally known for his expertise in the pool and spa industry. He was loved by so many for his unconditional kindness and generosity; so many called him their “second dad”. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Peck Sheldon; four children, Bailey Paul and Lydia Maria Elizabeth Sheldon, Ashley Summer and Lindsey Nicole Peck; his mother, Karen Sheldon; and multitudes of other family and friends, too many to mention. All services will be private. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. In lieu of flowers, Bill’s character was always to help someone else, so in honor of him, please do a kind thing or a friendly gesture to someone to continue on his unwavering compassion and love he showed everyone he met.

Condolences

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of Bills family and those who called him friend.Bill was like a brother to me. He never met a stranger and would help any time he even heard of someone in need. The world will be a lesser place without him and his smile.

Lisa and family, words cannot express my sympathy and sorrow for your loss and the loss of one of my good friends.I will miss his kind words and his boyish ways. He always worried about what was going on in other people's lives even though he had his own troubles. A truly compassionate, selfless person who will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Let me know if there is anything we can do for you.

Family - this is too sad for words. Bill has been so very special to everyone not only in business,
but in friendship and loving kindness. The many hours he spent with us at Virginia Pools & Hot Tubs, helping to set up our new location at that time and devoting his time and expertise to make sure we were the best! The time I was blessed to be able to spend with him will never be forgotten!
God bless you in this difficult time and know that
absent from the body-present with the Lord-God really needed Bill in heaven! Much love to you!
