Brennan, Jr. Martin J.

Martin Joseph Brennan, Jr., 73, of Petersburg, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012 at his residence. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Martin J. and Elizabeth Lynch Brennan. Mr. Brennan retired from the U. S. Air Force after 20 years of service. Following retirement, he spent 15 years as a Deputy with the Petersburg Sheriff’s Department. He retired a second time after two years with Dinwiddie Sheriff’s Department. Mr. Brennan was preceded in death by a son, Daniel James Brennan. He is survived by his wife, June Rose Brennan; son, Martin Joseph Brennan, III and wife, Lindsey of Texas; daughters, June Therese Hudgins and husband, David of Petersburg and Jennifer Rose Brennan of Louisiana; grandchildren, Tara, Darren James “D.J.”, Sean, Sophie, Bryan, Brittney, Luciun, and Jacinda; several nieces and nephews.
