Miss Genevieve R. Biedka, 93, of Petersburg, passed away on Friday March 12, 2010. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph & Rozalis Balkowski Biedka and a sister Josephine Schultz. She was retired from Civil Service and was employed at Fort Lee, Virginia. She is survived by her sister Jane Bryson of Florida, nephew; Dale L. Bryson of Germany, niece; Susan Bryson of Kansas, and a special close friend Lillian Beasley Kirkland. A graveside service will be held Wednesday March 17, 2010 at 10:00 AM in BlandfordCemetery, Petersburg, Virginia. This date was changed from Tuesday March 16 at 2:00 PM. My heart is sadden at learning of the passing of Ms. Genevieve Biedka! I was blessed with the opportunity to care for Biedka during my employment at Greenfield Reflections of Petersburg.
