Farley, Jacqueth Darleene

Jacqueth Darleene Sears Farley, 60, of Prince George, died Saturday, March 13, 2010. She was born at Fort Lee, VA and was a retired custodian at North Elementary School and bus driver for Prince George County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Palmer and Helen Dereski Sears and a sister, Sandra Y. Wyatt. Survivors include a daughter, Joanna Lea Farley, a step-son Robert Farley, both of Prince George, a sister, Charlene Sears Logan & husband HoBo, of Chester, a brother Darrell Ray Sears & wife, Donna, of Fredericksburg, nieces Sherry Wyatt Henderson, Julie Logan, Katy Sears; nephews Randy Wyatt, Kippy Wyatt & Kevin Wyatt; former husband, Elmer Earl Farley of Burrowsville, aunts, many cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2010 in the Hopewell Chapel at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Voss, pastor of Nazareth Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA, 23060. Russell and I had the pleasure of meeting Darleene about 4 years ago and from that day on we knew we had a friend forever. We are saddened to learn of her passing but are thankful she is no longer in any pain. We will cherish our memories. Our thoughts and prayers to the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with Darleene's family at this time. I am thankful that she is now free of pain and sickness and is with our Heavenly Father.

You will be MISSED Darlene among all us bus drivers from Prince George Co. I for one, can remember many laughs together. The angels above are going to love you!!!! I admire the person in you, one who held her head high, full of spunk, no matter what the odds. Your daughter, Jo Ann will be fine, cause she had you as a mother. Darlene could always make you smile, even when she had plenty of reasons not to. JoJo just remeber all the great times you shared with your Momma and no she loved you very much.

We were sorry to hear of her passing. Darleene was a co-worker to us both. She will be remembered for the many times she made us laugh. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. May God bless and keep you all during this time of sorrow. Michelle and JE

We will certainly missed Darlene. She was and is a loved member of our extended family at the Moose lodge. Darlene would always greet us with hugs & kisses, which we will always cherish. What a trooper she was. Joanna if you need anything sweetheart don't hesitate to ask. We will always be there.

We are deeply saddened by the lose of Darleene. She was a very loving and caring person and we will miss her so much. She always knew how to make you smile and always was there to listen. Remember Momma loved you more than anything in this world JoJo. Let us know if you need anything.

I just happened to see this. I was looking up something else and ran across Darlenne's obituary. I am very sorry to learn of her passing. It brings much sorrow in my heart, but I know she is with the Lord. She put up a good fight!! My prayers go out to the family and especially to Charlene and Kay. God bless, Janice
