Condolences

To Neil's family, especially Jerry Tatum and to Aunt Elizabeth. From Bob and I, all of you have our heart felt sympathy. I know you will miss such a sweet and wonderful man. Elizabeth, it was always such a treat to run into you and Neil at Olive Garden. You two were always laughing and having a good time. I am so glad you had each other. I know you will miss your best Companion & Sweetheart. I am so sorry for the loss you feel. God will be parting the clouds from time to time to let Neil look down on you and the rest of his family (Heb.12:1). You will not be alone. God bless you... (E.J.'s aunt and uncle).

I realize at a time like this, there is very little one can do or say. But, I do want you to know you have my deepest sympathy. God needed another angel so he called Neil home. Neil loved God and his family dearly. He was a good man and my "Sweetheart". My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
Love,
Elizabeth Bishop

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Neil's family. We loved Neil and he was such pillar in the church. He had perfect attendance for many years and was an active Deacon until his health began to fail. He loved the Lord, his church and his family. He was so proud of to have his family with him at church and I can remember the many times he would save them a seat on special occasions with bulletins lining the pews. He was the personal mailman and we could always count on him to take care of repairs at the church. He was loved by his whole church family and he will be sorely missed by all. As we look at the last pew where he always sat and at the doorway where he greeted everyone that came in, we will miss him with great sadness. He loved to help people and always had a hug for you when you came in. He has been such a part of our family for many years that I cannot remember a time without him. I thank Birdie for bringing him to Living Stone Baptist and for the years he dedicated to the church. We will always remember his gentleness and his loving kindness. Neil, we love you, we will miss you, but we know that God has taken you in and that you were so happy to see your beloved Birdie. Thank you Lois, Jerry, Lee, Wes, Herbert and Deloris for the love you showed Neil and for watching out for him for many years. He loved you dearly, we know, because he gleamed when he spoke of you. May God comfort you all during this time of loss. We love you all.
