Medora Jane Anderson Young, of Chester, 92, went to be with her heavenly Father and family on January 2, 2010. A native of Greenbrier, TN, she was predeceased by her parents Estell & Elizabeth Hinkle Anderson, husband Walter Fred Young, sons, Walter Eugene & Fred Thomas Young. She was a devoted, much loved Christian Mother & Grandmother. She was a long time member of the Courthouse Road Church of Christ. Surviving children are: David Earl (Kathleen), John Robert( Betty) of Jacksonville, FL, Billy Ralph(Elizabeth), Frank Leroy(Mary), Mary Elizabeth Johnson of Jacksonville, FL, Linda Faye Davis, Doris Jane Bennett(Bill), Shirley Lou Wright (Ian) , two foster sons; Howard Ramsey , and Paul Autman (Sheri), sister Margaret Creasy of Nashville, TN, grandchildren: David Jr., & Kenneth Young, Terrye Kibler, Timothy Young, Crystal Sorenson, Robin Corning, Will & Matthew Young, Denise Martinez, Donna White, Veda Fenner, Jean Switzer, Will & Jamie Bennett; Marshall II, Walter, Carole, & Rebecca Wright; Margaret Olah; Fred Junior , Stephen, Willard, Lynn & Georgie Ann Young, 39 Great Grandchildren, 13 Great- Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 5, 2010 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday January 6, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Evangelists Gene Tope & Walter Davis, Officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. May our God and Father be with you and family in your time of grief. Our prayers are amoung the many who sends them to the Father for your comfort and assurance that our beloved sister is gone home to the father. She will be missed but not forgotten.
