Butch,
It was a great treat when you and your Dad would
come to the marina and visit. We enjoyed his
company very much. We will all miss him and
his laughter a great deal. Our prayers are with
you and the family.
Love, June, Mike and Michael Winn
Butch and Jane,
We were so sorry to hear of the passing of PaPa. He was a wonderful man who loved life. My children loved him very much. We were watching our videos of him sitting on Santa's lap. He will be missed. You take care of yourselves. You will be in our prayers,

Jane & Butch,
We are so sorry to hear of John's passing. He will always be remembered for his looming voice, "take a picture", and the "one" from FUMA that married the baby sister..We all have our special memories of him...
Take comfort in knowing how much he loved his family..
He is with other family members now, and I'm sure Daddy is still having a good time "messing" with him..
Love you both,
Judy Gayle & Steve
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of your loss.

Jane & Butch,
We are so sorry about John. We enjoyed visiting you in Florida and will miss getting together with all of you now that you have moved closer.
We learned so many things about John that we didn't know when we came to your home in Florida. The boat races , swimming with the Dolphins , he had fun. He enjoyed his life and time living in Florida with you Jane and then when he moved back to Virginia you could also tell how happy he was to be back home. He told us he loved his new home and loved being so close to you Butch. He said you were always cooking something good and bringing it to him.
We know you both will miss him . You are in our prayers. We will miss him too. He always had a hug for us.
Love,
Bobby & Rita
Jane & Butch,
So sorry to hear "Big John", "Captain John" has left us to claim his place in Heaven. I drove trucks with "Big John" at Gulf Oil & Chevron for a lot of years. I helped John get the job at Gulf Oil as Summer vacation driver. Jane & John helped me a lot when my wife had to have a few operations, their friendship over the years will never be forgoten.
With Love, Condolences and Prayers,
Ralph and Billiedale

I have a lot of memories of Captain John that I will always cherrish.Especially the one about knocking the transducer off when went to pick up a boat by truck, the mahogany Chris-Craft,and Butch fixing spaghetti on the Broadwater.Boating will never be the same as it was then..
Condolences and Prayers,

Jane & Butch,
Uncle John will always be remembered as a man with a "booming" voice saying "take a picture of me and my boat". I will always treasure the days spent on the boat at the Sarasota boat races, and hanging the christmas lights on the "Big white house on the hill" in Thonotossasa, FL.
He was a special person in our lives and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
With Love, Condolences, and Prayers,
Michael & Mark
