Dearest Judy, Daniel & Amanda (puppy too),
Although we just moved next door a few months ago, we are deeply saddened by your loss. There are no words to fill the void, not enough hugs to squeeze out the pain. You are surrounded with so much love that masks it but only time will heal. Please don't hesitate to ask us for anything. We are just a stone's throw away.
He'll always be a part of you all.
God bless during this difficult time.
All our love,
Jennifer & Bud Spencer

My deepest thoughts go out to you and your family. I recently lost my father and not a day goes by that I do not think about him. I recently started working with Danny and though I only knew him for about 4 months, I feel as though I have known him for a lifetime. We enjoyed many cups of coffee over the months and he spoke fondly of all of you. Being a VT alumni, we had many conversations about you, Amanda, and how proud of you he was in your pursuit of an education. He spoke about the many trips he took with his wife and how proud he was of his son as well. Siemens seemed like a second home to Danny and please know that he will be missed greatly.

Lisa and Gerry.. I lost my own father suddenly when he was 49 years old and I was 15 years old. I know how shocking this time is but I also know that with God's love for you and the love that HE shows through the many people around you that in time the memories will bring smiles and not tears. The heavens have added a star.. may time and love make you see it shine.

Dear Danny Hobbs Family, I was so distressed to learn of Danny's death. It seems it was only yesterday that I saw him growing up at St. Mark's UMC, and it really wasn't that long ago that I ran into him at some of Amanda's band concerts. He will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathy to each one of you. May you find this a time to grow closer to one another and to God and to find His perfect peace. Love, Marylou Cumby

Dear Judy, Amanda, and Daniel Clay,
The entire Hill family wants to extend our deepest condolences. Danny, like me, was one of those rare redheads in the family. I remember the joy when he was born and the good times we enjoyed, especially at Grandmother Hobbs' house at Christmas. Danny and I shared a love of the classics in literature and music. Perhaps, this is genetic too. I know that family was the center of his life. Know that your Kentucky branch is praying for strength in this time and in the coming days for you.

Dear Judy,
Marie Eggleston told me of Danny's passing. I am so very sorry. It seems like yesterday we saw you two at the play at Richard Bland College, watching our two children. Please let Amanda know that Tim was very sorry to hear about her dad.
Let me know if there is anything at all I can do. Also know that I do understand what your are going through. I too, lost my husband of cardiac arrest when he was only 29 years old. I know the shock and confusion you must be feeling. I will be there for you should you need a shoulder to cry or just someone to listen to.
You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
