Comstock, Margaret A.

Margaret Ann Comstock, 85, of Parkwood Village in Wilson, NC, formerly of Petersburg, VA died on Friday, December 25, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Julia Thaxton; her husband, William Cloyce Comstock and a son, William Cloyce Comstock, Jr. Margaret loved her family and spending time at Myrtle Beach. She had many areas of enjoyment in her life such as eating at the Sea Captains restaurant, collecting Annalee Dolls and supporting the Barton College Basketball and Tobs Baseball Teams. She is survived by her children, Ann Malott (Doug), Lynn “Bee” Comstock, and C. Gregory Comstock (Cheryl); grandchildren, Chance Comstock (Christine), Everett Comstock, Allison Duncan (Jeff), Christian Malott, T.J. Comstock, Brittany Lysen (Joe); step grandchildren, Travis Ponton, and Tyler Ponton; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Hurt (Les); sister-in-law, Lois Hay and other relatives. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Blandford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Parkwood Village of Wilson, 1730 Parkwood Blvd., Wilson, NC 27893. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I just found this today. I have lost touch with you and would like to fix that. Hopefully you can respond to this. I know this is a very difficult time for you and I wish I could help. I will be praying for you and your family.

I am so very sorry about your mom but I know she is in a better place and watching over you. I will cherish the many memories I have forever and will be forever grateful for what you and your family has done for mine. My thoughts and my prayers are with you and your family. Love you

I am so sorry to read of Honey's death. I will never forget playing in her yard in Virginia and seeing all of her Annalee Dolls. If I can do anything for you, just let me know.

Dear family,
We are so sorry to read of Margaret's passing. We know you all will miss her tremendously. She was such a lively, lovely lady. Bill and Jean thought so much of her and your dad and greatly enjoyed their time together.
