Harvey, Louis D.

Louis Duaine Harvey, 96, of Hopewell, VA, died on Friday, December 25, 2009. He was born in Pittsylvania County, VA. Mr. Harvey was the son of the late Charlie Thomas Harvey and Flora Lee Dodd Harvey. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Mildred Williams Harvey, and sisters, Hazel Norton, Helen Nuckols, and Kitty Myers. Mr. Harvey was a retired machinist foreman for Allied Chemical, and a past President of the Congregation of Nazareth Lutheran Church of Hopewell. He is survived by a son, Michael D. Harvey and wife Susan of Dallas, TX, a daughter, Arlene H. Moore and husband, Ron of Hopewell; two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and a brother, William I. Harvey and wife, Ruth of Chesterfield, VA. A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in the Bermuda Memorial Park, Chester.
