Roderick Thomas Seaman, 62 of Petersburg, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas H. Seaman, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Cecelia B. Seaman; four brothers, Daniel Seaman and wife, Janice, Craig Seaman and wife, Judy, Thomas H. Seaman, Jr., Keith Seaman and wife, Renee; three sisters, Mary Louise Disney and husband, Steve, Valerie Baldwin and husband, Tom and Marcella Kelly and husband, Jay; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, December 28, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church. District 19 has lost a wonderful and dedicated person who dedicated his life to the patients who were under his counseling. I will never forget Rod and his love and devotion to my brother. My brother loved Rod and he will never forget him. We are sorry for your loss. God took an angel from this earth.

Cecelia and family,

Emily and I are sorry for your loss. I read of Rick's death on line since we are in California for the week. We wish we could be there. Our thoughts are prayers are with you.
