Please know that your Mother was one of the most
beautiful Christian woman I have ever known. I
prepared her and Gordon's taxes for many years and
always enjoyed our visits. Her love for her family will always remain with me. I know that you will see her again one day. Meanwhile always
remember her love for you.

Peggy and Betty Jo - I just learned of your beloved Mother's death. Pete called me from Tenn. to let me know. I lost J.C. a week before Thanksgiving and my Dad, a week before Christmas....our holidays have never been the same but we, like you, have wonderful memories. I remember the two of you mostly as young ladies and then teenagers - good memories. I loved your Mother; she had a disposition that was absolutely the best - and what a beautiful person inside as well as outside. My love to you and yours as well as my deepest sympathy, Love, Doris

Just last night, before I heard the news, I was pulling together family photos for the holidays and made sure I added the one of Aunt Billie and I. Its was from the last time I saw her and we had such a wonderful evening. I loved her personality and her heart. May she rest in peach with our sweet Lord.

We were very sorry to hear of Mary's passing. She was a wonderful Christian lady. She was always willing to help someone whenever she could and put the needs of others ahead of her own. When my mother can home from the nursing home in 2005, I will never forget how Mary volunteered to come to the house and stay will her for while each weekday morning after I left for work and before Mom's aid would arrive. She continued to do this even after she was barely able to get out of her own home. She will be greatly missed by the members of First Baptist Church and the community at large. Our sincerest condolences go out to Peggy, Mary Jo, and the rest of her family.
