I have such loving and funny memories of Carol from high school. I spent the night in her home many times as she did mine. We both liked to laugh so there was always some mischief we were concocting. In recent years, I had reconnected with her and I am so glad we had the few visits we did. I will miss her so much. My thoughts are with you, Walt, and the whole family.

Walt & family,

I want to express my deepest condolences on your loss. Carol's passing came as a great shock. She was a great lady and we have all suffered a great loss. She is now in a much better place where she will be free of all pain and suffering. My thoughts and prayers are and will continue to be with you during this most difficult time.

I never met Carol, but her sister Nancy Council is my dear friend. Nancy spoke of her sister Carol so fondly and told me many nice stories about her over the years. I am so very sorry for your loss.
Sincerely, Mona Snowden, Tallahassee, FL.

Whenever i have introduced Carol I have prefaced the introduction by telling the story of Carol's having written a bad check for beer for the two of us when we were impoverished college students. Greater love, there is none. Beer story aside, Carol was part of my life, and the lives of my family members. All of us adored her. Carol was the friend everyone should be fortunate enough to have. Her loyalty, judgement, and sense of humor were unparalleled.
Great love and condolences to Walter and the family.
