Coleman, Kate R.Saturday, December 12, 2009
Kate Rose Coleman, 87, of Richmond, VA, beloved wife of Col. (ret) Walter Emerson Coleman who preceded her in death, passed away on December 12, 2009. Born in Dinwiddie, VA, she was the daughter of the late Caesar Edward Rose and Kate Fennel Rose. She is survived by her son William L. Coleman and his wife Pamela of Midlothian, VA, two grandsons, John A. Coleman and Michael T. Coleman, her brother William B. Rose of Colonial Heights, VA, and her sister Sarah R. Hill of Jacksonville Beach, FL. She was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church, an avid golfer, and long time member of Meadowbrook Country Club. A graveside service will be held in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA on Tuesday December 15th at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bon Secours Hospice Care.
