Riley, Frances L.

Frances Livesay Riley, age 91, of Chesterfield, formerly of Petersburg, passed away July 14, 2009 in her residence at Lucy Corr Nursing Home. Frances was predeceased by her parents Lewis Allen & Beedie Bell Livesay of Prince George County, Va., her husband Roland H. “Pop” Riley, her sisters Dorothy Bishop, Elizabeth Mann, Hazel Edwards, her brothers, Lewis Allen Livesay, Jr., Herbert Livesay, nephews Herbert Livesay, Jr. and Hampton Mann. She was a life long member of Good Sheppard Memorial Episcopal Church and St. Johns Episcopal Church of Petersburg, VA., and was retired from Titmus Optical Co. She is survived by her daughter Arline Riley Lockett & husband Donald of Tucson, AZ, her son Roland H. “Bobby” Riley, Jr. & wife Carolyn of Chesterfield, VA, five grandchildren, five great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home Friday July 17, 2009 from 6-8 PM. A graveside service will be held in Blandford Cemetery on Saturday July 18, 2009 at 11:00 AM, interment will follow.
