Cogbill, Jr., Walter T.

Walter Thomas “Tom-Tom” Cogbill, Jr., 62, of Petersburg died on Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Tom-Tom was a loving father and grandfather who loved his family, including his “CB” family. He served his country in the U.S. Army and worked for Star Tobacco for 15 years. He is survived by his fiancée, Delores Williams; sons, Billy Cogbill and wife, Jessica and Ray Cogbill and wife, Lisa all of Chesterfield; grandchildren, Adam, Brent and Amber Cogbill and Zach Huffman; step-children, Wendy Moorman and husband, Charles of Chester, Robert Turner and wife, Rhonda of Dinwiddie, Tina Drumheller and husband, Christopher of Madison Heights and Crystal Lamm and husband, Duane of Colonial Heights; step-grandchildren, Charlie and Kristen Moorman, Brittany and C.J. Drumheller, Katlyn and D.J. Lamm and Chris, Haleigh, Tristan and Robbie Turner; sisters, Barbara Crowder and Mary Miller; niece, Jennifer Falco and nephew, Justin Miller. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 4 to 6 pm. A memorial service will follow at 6 pm. My sister, Marjory and I grew up with Tommy and were very close cousins. We have so many fond memories and loved him dearly. He was such a sweetie!

I am so sorry to hear about mr Cogbill. I would like to find out if he worked for adams street IGA before star tobacco. My family owned that business for 20 years and we had a loyal employee by that name for about 10 years.
