Condolences

Dear Mary Ann and Family, Pat and I want to express our great sorrow on learning of the passing of Brother, Patriarch and Colonel James. We have always felt that he was one of the finest gentlemen one could meet and associate with. He gave greatly to the service of his Country and he gave much also to the Independent Order of Oddfellows-and we shall never forget it. We loved him as a friend and a brother. Our fondest hope would be that the children and grand children learn of his efforts and strive to duplicate them.May God bless and keep each and everyone of you-and may you always hold dear the memories of this honorable distinguished loved one. If ever we can be of service to you in anyway, please contact us. Cecil Taylor, PGM IOOF-Va.

Dear Mary Ann - So sorry to learn of James' death.
I can remember hearing my mother and father - Carl and Virginia Farmer - speak of you and James often. And, if you remember, I would see the both of you at the Home sometimes during my time there as administrator. You and James always seemed to be so very kind and thoughtful.
My best to you, your children, and grandchildren. May God's love and support carry you through these days of sorrow. Shelby Farmer Staples
