Sherry Reanette Emory, 58, of Prince George, died Thursday, March 26, 2009 at John Randolph Medical Center. She was born in Colreign, NC and was a former employee of the food service department of Hopewell High School. Mrs. Emory was preceded in death by her parents, Roy W. and Hilda Mizelle Dawson, a sister, Garline E. Dunlow, her twin brothers, Robert and Perry Dawson and lifelong companion, Richard D. McKinney. Surviving are her daughters, Janelle McKinney and husband Richard of Prince George, Amber Emory of Indiana and an adopted daughter, Lorie DiDomenico of Prince George, six grandchildren, Richard, Jr., Leslie, Chet, Kayleen, Mercedes and Jewel, two sisters Janie Dawson Martin of Chesterfield and Rhonda Elrod of Dallas, TX, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, March 30, 2009 in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home from 7-8-30 p.m. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 2 p.m. in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chesterfield County.
