Sandra L. Wyatt

Sandra Lee Wyatt, age 64, a resident of Spring Grove Road, Claremont, died Friday March 13, 2009 in Williamsburg. Born on May 12, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Dick & Lorraine Adams. She was a member of the Surry United Methodist Church and a dedicated member of the Surry Volunteer Rescue Squad for many years. Sandra was devoted to her family and was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid gardener and loved knitting and painting. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Willis E. Wyatt, JR; a son Robert L. Wyatt of Claremont; two grandchildren, Colby and Marissa Wyatt; and a sister. Lorraine Rudisail of Georgia. She was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Matthews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday March 22, 2009 in Surry United Methodist Church by the Rev. Raymond Rowland. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Surry United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 118, Surry VA 23883. Arrangements are being handled by Purviance Chapel of J. T. My heartfelt condolences to you, Robert and all the family. Sandy and I spent a lot of time running rescue squad calls together and she was a great friend and a caring person who will be missed by all of us.

Dearest Eddie and Rob, my heart is so saddened, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you both. Sandy was so special to me, and I know how much she dearly loved the both of you..... just know that Woody and I are here for the both of you at anytime and our love and prayers are with you. Wow.... I can almost see her face when she stood in the very presence of our Jesus for the first time!!!!!! There are so many wonderful memories of our times together... God bless you both, call if you need us. We love you and know that you will always remain special in our lives,
