Sandra L. Wyatt

Sandra Lee Wyatt, age 64, a resident of Spring Grove Road, Claremont, died Friday March 13, 2009 in Williamsburg. Born on May 12, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Dick & Lorraine Adams. She was a member of the Surry United Methodist Church and a dedicated member of the Surry Volunteer Rescue Squad for many years. Sandra was devoted to her family and was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid gardener and loved knitting and painting. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Willis E. Wyatt, JR; a son Robert L. Wyatt of Claremont; two grandchildren, Colby and Marissa Wyatt; and a sister. Lorraine Rudisail of Georgia. She was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Matthews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday March 22, 2009 in Surry United Methodist Church by the Rev. Raymond Rowland. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
