Minnie Robertson Bailey, 88, of Petersburg departed this life on Thursday, February 26, 2009. Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, William Douglas Bailey and she is survived by his family. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Sunday, March 1, 2009 from 2 to 4 pm. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Monday, March 2, 2009 at Southlawn Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com. Condolences
Minnie brought great joy to my family in the year since the passing of my grandfather, her husband. I hope we made her last days just as joyful. I will never forget her laughter at the beach when my mom pretended to pull her behind a bike in her wheelchair or the look on her face at her surprise 88th birthday party in August.
