Wynn, Elva L.Tuesday, February 24, 2009
Elva Lewis Wynn, 89, of Dinwiddie died on Tuesday, February 24, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Grace Westmoreland Lewis; husband, Thomas B. Wynn; brother, Edwin T. Lewis and a niece, Gay Staton. Mrs. Wynn was a life time member of Smith’s Grove United Methodist Church. She is survived by a niece, Nancy L. Coe and husband, Eugene; great nieces, Donna Clements, Sherry Bleistein and husband, Steve, Tracy Bickley and husband, Steve and great great nephews, Cory and Cole Bleistein. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, February 26, 2009 from 6 to 7:30 pm. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, February 27, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Blandford Cemetery. Nancy and Family: Nancy and family I would like to express my sympathy to you and your family. She will be sadly missed. I was so glad to have shared this past Saturday with her visiting her at the hair shop. She will always hold a special place in my heart. I realize at a time like this, there is very little one can do or God needed another angel so he called Elva home.
