Barbara Joan Fones-Wright-Rogers, 63, of Chesterfield County, passed away Monday, February 09, 2009. Born in Richmond, she was the daughter of the late Armstead Clyde and Mary Virginia Boulware Fones. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and a mentor to many. Surviving are her children, Dr. Luther L. Wright, Jr. and wife, Barbara and Kim Jackson all of Chesterfield; grandchildren, Steven Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Liam Wright, and Ethan Wright; and many close friends. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 5:00 PM Thursday, February 12, at her residence, 12100 Dunnottar Drive (The Highlands), Chesterfield, VA 23838. JR and Kim, Just wanted you to know that you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure that Barbara is now at peace and looking down upon us with a smile. Her spirit and good nature live in all of you. I will never forget all the times I came to your house to swim, talk, and just have an overall good time. I am very thankful for your friendship throughtout these years. May God bless and help you through this difficult time. If there is anything you need or want, please know that I am here.
