Auen, Emily

Emily Louise Gibbs Auen, 90, a former resident of Hopewell, died Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Mrs. Auen was born in Ettrick, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Emily Vest Gibbs, and her husband, William C. Auen. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Friday, January 30, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. in Southlawn Memorial Park. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
