Arnold, Vonceil "Queenie"

Vonceil “Queenie” Lott Arnold, 81, of Colonial Heights, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Mrs. Arnold was born in Covington, GA, daughter of the late Benjamin F. Lott and Myrtle E. Hopkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard R. Arnold, Sr. and son, Howard R. Arnold, Jr. Mrs. Arnold was a member of the Eastern Starr and an avid Bingo player at the American Legion in Colonial Heights. Mrs. Arnold was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret D. Hearn and husband, Reuben R. of Acworth, Georgia and Suzette A. Kidd of Colonial Heights; grandsons, Christian J. Kidd and wife, Randi of Chester, VA, and Timothy H. Kidd and wife, Angel of Richmond, VA; great-grandchildren, Trystan Hunter and Ellie Lynn Kidd; and four nephews and one niece. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 15, 2009 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will take place on Friday, January 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park, with entombment following.
