Condolences

Onola Knapp gave me her white iris bulbs.

The next spring and many after I brought her a florist's dream bouquet. She would clap her distinguished hands in appreciation.

Onola always displayed attributes of grace and poise. She was grateful, enthusiastic, interested, and non-critical.

The great span of 100 years, 5 months
was occupied with loving and nurturing her world.

She was a lady with inner poise and peace that comes only from accepting daily challenges even when it meant the death of her dear husband, Clarence, and her beloved son, Burt.

During our talks, I never heard her complain, criticize, or condemn. She displayed understanding, wisdom, concern, interest, and love for all the people in her life.

Onola gave me her white iris bulbs so I would have something to give.

Her bulbs rested quietly in many yards on January 9, 2009, the day she left the earth.

In the spring, the angelic pure blooms will burst from the soil and with it we'll be reminded of redemption, resurrection power, life, and eternity for Onola Knapp and all of us who believe.
