Dates, Wanda L.Friday, January 09, 2009
Wanda Lee Dates, age 60, of Chester, VA, passed away Friday, January 9, 2009. She was born in Grandview, WV, the daughter of the late Harold L. Johnson. She is survived by her loving husband, William C. Dates; mother, Nelda Johnson; daughter, Jaimie Bennett; granddaughter, Gracie Howard; sisters, Doris Luck and husband, Paul, and Nancy Johnson, and husband, Matthew Harrah; nieces, Jessica Robertson, Jennifer Bennett, and Kimberly Starr; two grand-nieces; and a grand-nephew, Cody Bennett. A memorial celebration of Mrs. Dates’s life will be held in the Life Church at 16801 Harrowgate Rd. Chester, VA 23831 on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of Richmond.
