Kyle Sinclair Burks, 21, resident of Southampton County, formerly of Richmond, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 7, 2009. He is survived by his mother, Anne Felton and husband, Dean of Drewryville, VA; father, Kevin Vincent Burks of Richmond, VA; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Burks and her mother, Heather Ann Dimick of Southampton County, VA; sisters, Beverly Ann Vick and husband, Joe of Capron, VA and Patricia Leigh Dillon and fiancé, Scott of Courtland, VA; nephew, Tristan Vick of Capron, VA; niece, Makayla Morris of Courtland, VA; grammy, Joan Nancy Bessette; paternal grandparents, Ronnie and Pat Burks, all of Richmond, VA and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Friday, January 9, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm. A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Capron Cemetery in Capron, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in care of Elizabeth Ann Burks to P.O. Box 21, Drewryville, VA 23844, to establish a trust for her. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

May God be with you all in this time of need. (Kyle, I will always remember the trips you made to Rocky Mount VA with Beverly for our family reunions.) I love you all!

To Kyle, it was a joy watching you grow up with all the other young people in our lives. And we will always remember the times you spent with our family. Your smile and presence will be with us always. We're all going to miss you so much, while we're still here. But I know that we will meet again in Heaven. Until then, you remain in our hearts. Words for Kyle:
Watching you grow up and remembering our times together is a special gift from God. Your time here was way too short. This life will pass away fast. We will see you again and we make up for time lost. We loved you and always will.
To the family:
No amount of sorrow will help but just know we will pray for God to help you through this. Not just once but everyday until we feel peace that you are ok. We are sorry for your loss and grieve with you.
