Condolences

The Virginia Federation of Dog Clubs & Breeders is saddened by the passing of our long time member. June held one of the most challenging positions in the organization, and she did it with grace and style. As our Legislative Liaison for several years, she effectively communicated our positions to legislators on issues affecting the sport of purebred dogs across the entire state of Virginia. We all owe her a debt of gratitude, and will surely miss her strong yet gentle nature.

Ralph, June and Libby were among the best in the collie club--they did amazing obedience things with their collies...I was privileged to know them both..and loved them..and am praying for the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with her family which made June so very proud. Libby was a shining star in the Collie World and made the Shenmoor collies a force to be reckoned with. She loved attending her grandaughter,Kelsie's activites throught her life. How many hours we laughed at June & Ralph and their banter.June was a passionate fighter for the collie first and all dog breeds second...The Central Virginia Collie Club probably wouldn't be in existence today if it wasn't for June and Ralph...The Va. Federation Dog Breeders found a legislative liaison in her untiring hours spent with our state government officials to bring the right type of dog legislation to Virginia while protecting the hobby breeders,..... I will miss her and her tough, but gentle guidance of our club. . . Rest with God. . ..
