Mere words cannot describe Donna. Everyone who had the privilege of encountering her would not only come to know her, but to have a new friend, as well. Donna's love and concern for others knew no limits. She was truly someone who once she made your acquaintance, you would remember her always. Her compassion and generosity touched so many, both in the workplace and beyond. We have truly been blessed to have known this incredible lady.

My thoughts and prayers are with Jimmie, their 3 children, and the rest of the family. My family has known them for many years and I remember her and Jimmie from as far back as I can remember! When I was little, I used to chase the chickens around their back yard and I remember her babysitting me a few times and getting all the goodies I wanted :) I was in shock when my Nana called me at work and told me what had happened, I'm still in shock! It just seems unreal that something that tragic happened to such a sweet and good-hearted person as Donna! She will definitely be missed and I will think about her every Sunday when I pass by (what used to be) her and Jimmie's home right around the corner from my Nana's house!

Donna will be missed greatly, she was someone who often thought of others. I am very thankful for having the chance to have met her and hearing her encouraging words each time we talked. She will never know how much of an impression that she left on me (her thoughtfulnes, joy, and laughter). If I had one word to describe Donna it would be "Sunshine".
Her family is in my thoughts and prayers!

She spread her love and beautiful nature to everyone she encounter, giving her all in all and just wanting a hug in return. I can still hear her calling the patients and coworkers babies and boopsies. I hope her joy remains with us to keep all loved ones strong. To her family, stay in strong in prayer and Lord will see you through the hard time. She would not want to see you sad, so try hard to remember her bright smile and that penetrating laugh that lit up our world while she was here. I love you Donna.

Sincerely,

The Delk Family

I am saddened by the loss of this wonderful person. Donna was not only a colleague, but a friend as well. For being such a little bit of a thing, she had a heart the size of Mount Rushmore and the personality to match! No matter what came her way, Donna always had a smile on her face and a hug for you. She will be missed.

I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderful woman. She was truly one of the kindest people I ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was kind to everyone and treated all of her patients with respect and love, no matter what their situation was. We can all learn from her examples of unconditional love and caring.

She will be truly missed.

Donna was a kind, loving and compassionate person. I have never met anyone like her nor do I think I ever will again. She always was able to see the good side in everyone and accepted everyone for who they were. I consider it an honor to have worked with her. She truly loved being a a nurse and her patients really loved her as well. I can not even count the many warm and loving comments that I received from the patients relating to the wonderful care they received from her. I will miss hearing her voice, the wonderful cards she always remembered to send, and her optimistic outlook she had on life. Even when things were not quite going her way--she was always worried about the "other guy" and what she could do to lighten their load.
I consider myself a very lucky and fortunate person to have had her in my life as a friend, and know in my heart that she is going to be watching over us to guide us in the right direction until we meet again.
I will miss her very much. May God Bless her family and God Bless You Donna.

Words cannot express how sorry I am for this horrible loss. Donna was such a kind soul who would do anything and everything in her power for anyone in need. She was a true blessing to those of us who had the privilege of knowing her. She's greatly loved and I cannot truly express how much she will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. My heart aches for them all. GOD BLESS.
