Charles Alton Williamson, Jr., 83, of Colonial Heights passed away on Friday, October 17, 2008. He was the son of the late Charles Alton Williamson, Sr. and Arie Betty Fowler Williamson Hawkins. Charles is survived by his wife of 34 years, Margaret l. Williamson; daughters, Debra Cook and her husband, Joseph and Linda Asencio; six grandchildren; two beautiful great grandchildren and his dog, Max. A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Monday, October 20, 2008 at Bermuda Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bermuda Baptist Church, P.O. Box 2536 Chester, Virginia 23831. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service where condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com. My mother Margaret Goodman and my family were saddened to hear of the death of my uncle and my mothers brother. We hope he is in peace and with his mother and father and baby brother in heaven. May his surviving family be blessed with all of the good memories we have of him.This is something no one can take from us, his family. We love and miss you very much!
