Brickell, Louis E.

Louis E. Brickell, age 59, of Chester, VA, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2008. He was a retired Boilermaker with the Local #45. Mr. Brickell is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Bonnie M. Brickell; mother, Elsie Brickell; sons, Bruce Mobley of Chester, and Shane Mobley of Colonial Heights, VA; a daughter, Wendy Simpson of Cumming, GA; eight grandchildren; brothers, Russell Brickell, Steve Brickell, and David Jean, all of Chester; and a sister, Donna Patterson of Roanoke Rapids, NC. A memorial service will take place in his honor on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the Chesterfield chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service at 2 p.m., with a visitation following the ceremony. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Virginia. Bonnie, we are so thankful that we got to spend the time with you and Louis at the last reunion, and so hoped that he would be well enough to join us this year. Our prayers are with you, and we love you.

I worked with Lou Lou at Dutch Gap. I really enjoyed knowing him and want you to know how sorry I am for your loss.
