James F. Dickerson, age 54, of Chesterfield, VA, died on Tuesday, October 7, 2008. He was born in Elizabeth, NJ, the son of Mary Comiskey Dickerson and the late Frank Dickerson. Mr. Dickerson is survived by his loving wife, Elena M. Dickerson; daughters, Jennifer Eschbach and husband Brian of Colonial Heights, and Alyssa Dickerson of Chesterfield; four brothers; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Sunday, October 12, 2008 from 4 to 6 p.m. A Memorial service will follow on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, 11:00 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond, VA In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Jerry and I have have been blessed with the gift of Jim's friendship and professional support for many years. He worked with us over the years, providing us with valuable help no matter what the need. He always relieved us from worry and made everything come out just fine. And he always did this with his heart and a smile. We have heavy hearts by the news of your and our loss. We see Jim every day where his hands have made our world better. We are thinking of you today and know that Jim's love of all of us will live within us forever.
