NaeNae was my daughters first teacher. She cared for my baby at Bettye Ackerman and gave the greatest gift a mother could ever ask for - a loving set of arms to hold her child, laugh with her and wipe away her tears when I could not be there myself.

She always had a smile on her face, always listened attentively and we will miss her dearly. She touched hundreds of lives and will live in our memories forever.

We only knew Renee as parents whose children attended the Child Development Center where she worked. Both of our children were in her classroom and still speak fondly of NaeNae. I want to first say how sorry I was to hear of your mom. This was such an unexpected shock for everyone. This is something that you just cannot prepare yourself for. You just have to remember that your mom will always be with you; her spirit will be part of you no matter where you go. I know that you wanted, needed, and hoped for more time to spend with your mom. Your mom loved you very much and I know you will miss her terribly. Just think, your mother has taught you well because you would not be the person you are today without her influence when you were growing up.

I wanted to let you know that I am here for you at any time you need me - just to listen, or to talk. I already told you this, but I wanted to say it again. Please, don't hesitate to call me at home or work.
