James F. Dickerson, age 54, of Chesterfield, VA, died on Tuesday, October 7, 2008. He was born in Elizabeth, NJ, the son of Mary Comiskey Dickerson and the late Frank Dickerson. Mr. Dickerson is survived by his loving wife, Elena M. Dickerson; daughters, Jennifer Eschbach and husband Brian of Colonial Heights, and Alyssa Dickerson of Chesterfield; four brothers; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Sunday, October 12, 2008 from 4 to 6 p.m. A memorial service will follow on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, 11:00 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond, VA In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Please know my thoughts and prayers are truly with each and every one of you during this difficult time. I know it's hard, however, he is finally at Peace without any pain or suffering and he is in the best hands right now with the Great Lord Above.
