Deborah, Frankie, Alice & all family members.
I am so very sorry to hear of Jean's passing. I knew that she wasn't well when I saw her last in May, but I am so glad that I did get to see her twice in the past year and get to talk to her cheery and sweet personality. She will be missed by so many in the churches and in the family. My mom was shocked to hear the news and is sorry that she won't be able to attend the funeral service due to her fragile back. Jean & Alice were always so helpful to both of my parents all of the years that I didn't live in VA and I could have never thanked Jean enough. Deborah, I remember the fun days we had at your house on Beech Street when we were kids. Alice, I know you will miss Jean terribly as we all will, and thank you for all the care that you gave my mom and dad.

Love & blessings to you all.

Deborah and Family...My heart broke when I saw that Jean passed away...so many memories I have of her on Beech Street growing up with you...it seemed like you were always in trouble with her...I can hear her screaming now...DEBORAH KAY...DEBORAH KAY...LOL...oh what I would give to hear her say that again...she was the sweetest person i knew from my childhood...excellent mother and sister...there are not many words that a person can say at a time like this except that she was loved, she's still loved and she is with Jesus now and you will be with her again and when that time comes, it will be for all eternity...that makes me smile...so to you Jean I say that I love you and throw a lil angel dust this way and I will never forget you...and for you Deborah, I love you so much and always will and lets always remember our childhood and never stop laughing...esp. about the mud we got in at Mrs. Horne's house...LOL...Love you and I send my love to Frankie also...God Bless all of you

We will always remember Jean's smiling face in the choir at Memorial UMC. She was always so happy and glad to see everyone she met. Our prayers will be with the family at this time.
