Dear Sue and family,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I know that she was a wonderful lady, because I only heard you say good things about her during the years that we worked together. Y'all are in my heart and prayers during this time of grief. I pray that the Lord will give you strength and comfort for each day. Blessings to you all,

Your Mom, Nancy, was a special person, always kind, loving and sweet to us. She was a strong independant woman with a mind of her own. She lives on in her children, their children and everyone she touched.

The Rose Beyond the Wall

Near a shady wall a rose once grew,
Budded and blossomed in God's free light,
Watered and fed by the morning dew,
Shedding it's sweetness day and night.

As it grew and blossomed fair and tall,
Slowly rising to loftier height,
It came to a crevice in the wall
Through which there shone a beam of light.

Onward it crept with added strength
With never a thought of fear or pride,
It followed the light through the crevice's length
And unfolded itself on the other side.

The light, the dew, the broadening view
Were found the same as they were before,
And it lost itself in beauties new,
Breathing it's fragrance more and more.

Shall claim of death cause us to grieve
And make our courage faint and fall?
Nay! Let us faith and hope receive--
The rose still grows beyond the wall,

Scattering fragrance far and wide
Just as it did in days of yore,
Just as it did on the other side,
Just as it will forevermore.

Jim and Jayme,

Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are sure that she is in a better place, but it is always difficult to lose a special family member. You were very good to her and you can certainly take comfort in that.

Blessings,

Dear Kristen and Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with at this time.

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die. -- "Anonymous"

My heart goes out to you all,

My sister Grace called and let me know of Aunt Nancy's passing. My condolences to Judy, Susan, Kitty, Jim and David and all of their families. I'm one of Hilda McGuire's daughters and remember Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Nancy coming all the way down to Memphis for my wedding in 1993.

I would like to offer my condolences to the family of Mrs. Strawmyer. I worked with Mr. James Strawmyer for several years with the federal Govrn. Stay strong and believe in god. Your parents were very strong people that loved their family.
