Teachey, Virginia Eileen

Virginia Eileen Teachey, 61, of Enon, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008 in Medical College of Virginia Hospital in Richmond. Mrs. Teachey was a member of the Cawson Street Church of Christ in Hopewell. She is survived by her husband, Joel Ray Teachey of Enon, three daughters, Glenda K. Teachey of Enon, Melissa E. Farris and her husband Jesse of Hopewell, Kelly D. Teachey of Enon, two grandchildren, Dakotah C. Farris, Heaven Leigh Farris, both of Hopewell, her father, Charles R. Ethridge of Petersburg, her mother, Virginia Lewis Ethridge of Colonial Heights, a sister, Sandra Crone and her husband Charles of Gloucester, and a brother, Ricky Ethridge and his wife, Sue of Disputanta. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 5, 2008 from 4:30 to 6:00 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Monday, October 6, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Cawson Street Church of Christ, with Mural Worthey officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA.
