Donna Appleby Leggett, 46, died Monday, September 1, 2008, at her home in Prince George, Virginia. She was a registered nurse and served as a deaconess at Unity Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, John Robert Leggett, Jr. of Prince George, her mother, Betty King Appleby, a brother, Phillip Appleby and wife, Laura, two nephews, Phillip Appleby Jr. and Aaron Appleby all of Heathsville, Virginia. The family will receive friends beginning at 6 pm, Wednesday, September 3, 2008, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the Unity Baptist Church, with Rev. Chris Jenkins, pastor, assisted by the former pastor, Rev. Dr. Alex Roberts.
Interment will be Thursday, September 4, 2008, at 12 noon at Roseland Cemetery in Reedville, Virginia.

John, I am so sorry. Donna was so special to me. She was such an inspiration to everyone. She continues to inspire me to do the Lord's work. You are constantly in my prayers.

Mr. Leggett, I just wanted to offer our condolences to your family in the untimely passing of your beloved Donna. Just remember dear family when grief appears to have you in its clutch, pray as never before. For relief will be felt when our Heavenly Father answer your prayers-joy will replace grief and peace will take the place of anguish.(Psalms 34:15)
Just know you and yours are thought of today in prayer by many, Mr. Leggett;especially Jehovah God.(Hebrew 13:5) God and His son, Jesus Christ always have a warm place in their hearts for your family in your time of sorrow and for your beloved Donna.
