Starr, Joan M.Friday, August 29, 2008
Joan Marie Starr, 59, of Midlothian, passed away Friday August 29, 2008 as a result of a long terminal illness. She was a Registered Nurse at McGuire Veterans Hospital and was devoted to her profession and the personal care of her patients. Ms. Starr was the daughter of Nelda G. Johnson and the late Harold L. Johnson. She is survived by her daughter; Kimberly Starr, granddaughters; Brittany and Sarah, sisters; Wendy, Doris, and Nancy, nieces; Jennifer and Jessica. A memorial service will be held at the Chester Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service Sunday, August 31, 2008 at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private. In Lieu of Flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Virginia. Condolences
