John, you will be missed by the Anchor Room gang for your quick wit and laughter. I had many a fine evening sharing stories with you and visiting the various festivals when I lived in Hopewell. To a kind friend who always put his family and friends at the top of the heap. You'll be missed.....Mike in Bangkok

I wish I could be there in person to say my goodbyes, but our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Please know that he will be deeply missed by all of us in Minnesota. Godspeed Uncle John. XOXO
Carolyn and I have you and your family in our prayers at this time of loss.
Dear Tommy (My dad), Aunt Marian, Linda, Sherry and Uncle John:
I am truly sorry for the loss of your father, my grandfather. It's hard to deal with the fact that I never really had the chance to visit him often due to living so far apart. I feel like the worst granddaughter ever because he was the greatest grandfather I ever had, he was always so supportive, caring and nice and I didn't get the chance to tell him how proud I was to have him as my grandpa. I am grateful for all the times we did share together including going to the San Diego Zoo, our birthday party (1998) and all of the phone conversations on all holidays. My grandpa was a very fortunate man to have such a close knit family. I am proud to be his granddaughter. I am thankful for all of the things he did in his life especially for raising my dad, Tommy, who is the nicest person in the world that I will meet. I love all of you very much and I wish I could be there in person to support you all but know that I am here in the heart. Much Love and my sincerest prayers, Love Lisa Marie Stallings
Marian, John, Tommy, Sherry, Linda & families,
You are all in our thoughts and prayers this week. Uncle John was very special and your trips to Minnesota were often the highlight of the summer. We will miss him.
