Dudley, Doris D.Thursday, August 21, 2008
Doris Sheppard Dudley, 82 formerly of Petersburg, died Thursday, August 21, 2008 in Beaumont, Texas. She was a native of Prince George and the daughter of the late William Franklin and Sarah Bost Sheppard. She was a retired LPN from Southside Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, William A. Dudley, Jr. of Beaumont, TX; three daughters, Vivian D. Washington of Beaumont, TX, Cathy D. Rainey of Sutherland, VA and Betty D. Starks of Chester; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Floyd Sheppard of Dinwiddie; sister, Elizabeth Evans of Lexington, KY; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, August 27, 2008 in the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with the Rev. Dwayne Walker officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com. Condolences
