Sally Jean Fruchey, 55, of Sutherland, VA, formerly of Luna Pier, entered into rest after a long and tiring illness on Friday, August 8, 2008. Sally had a passion for life that radiated in her love for her grandkids, family, gardening, and animals. She worked for Jeep/Chrysler in Ohio for 10 years. Sally was the best cook in the world and could cook anything and make it taste good. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Sally was preceded in death by her mother, Ilda Folrence Byers Schultz. She is survived by her husband, Leroy L. Fruchey; children, Brook Vyse and husband, Matthew, Becky Nagy and husband, Brian and James Baldwin and wife, Dorys and her beloved grandchildren, Aaron, Trevor, Brittany and Brianne; brothers, Donald Schultz and wife, Judy of Boise, Idaho, Billy Schultz of Florida, Garry Schultz of Monroe and sisters, Karen Williams and husband, Bill of Tecumseh, Maureen Burghardt of Monroe, and Susan LeBlanc and husband, Gilles of Erie. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 103 South Adams Street, Petersburg, VA 23803 on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 from 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

I am so sorry to hear of Sally's passing. It has been a long journey for both of you. I hope that you can find some peace in the fact that she is finally at rest. I will not be able to attend the memorial service, but will look forward to seeing you in either South Caroina or Ohio so that I can hug your neck!
