Resnick, Kathleen

Kathleen Anne Resnick, 60, of Chesterfield died August 10, 2008. She was the daughter of the late SFC George H. and Catherine Liszka & the wife of Larry Resnick. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, received Associates Degree in Accounting from Richard Bland in 1990, where she received the Wall Street Journal Award, & graduated Summa Cum Laude. She is survived by four children, Todd Resnick & wife, Michelle of Chester, Christine M. Resnick & husband, Oihub Benchekh of Alexandria, Adam Resnick & wife, Melondy of Broadway, NC, Jennifer L. Dudley & husband, Chris of Matoaca; six grandchildren, Victoria and Hunter Dudley, Alex and Rachel Resnick, Caleb and Zachary Messer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Tuesday at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association- Richmond Chapter, 2788 Hydraulic Road, Suite 4, Charlottesville, VA 27410. You all are in my thoughts and prayers thru this difficult time. Be assured that she no longer suffers and wants for you not to weep at your loss but to cry tears of joy for she is whole again and enjoying her life everlasting. She will be with you always, so embrace her often as she will do the same.

my deepest sympathies go out to the resnick family. i used to see todd and cathy at kays house. kay and cathy were very kind to my mom. she is in my prayers.

I will always remember Kathy's sweet smile and quick wit. The legacy of her life is her warm and wonderful family. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers during this sad time.

It was sad to learn of Kathy's passing. We have not seen her in a while. That will be our loss. We love you all and you are in our prayers.
