Virginia Hemphill Darling, 97, of Hopewell, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2008. She was the widow of Robert B. Darling. She is survived by her sons, Robert B. Darling, Jr. and William Stuart Darling; four grandchildren Robert B. Darling, III, Katherine D. Jones, James C. Darling, Elizabeth A. Darling and three great grandchildren, Ashley Darling, Logan Darling, and Justin Conway. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. Robert & Stuart:

My sympathy on the loss of your mother. I know she will be missed by many, many people. I will always remember growing up on Prince George Ave with all of you and going through school with you Robert. Your mother has always been a fixture on this street until the last few years, when she had to move. I know she was well cared for though. I hope you will give my regards to the rest of your family.
