Kesler, Sidney B., Jr.

Sidney Braudes Kesler, Jr., age 76, of Richmond, VA, departed this life on Sunday, July 27, 2008. He was born in Hopewell, VA, the son of the late Sidney B., Sr. and Laura Lyerly Kesler. Mr. Kesler was a U. S. Army veteran and past president and member of the Meadowbrook Lions Club. He was retired from Reynolds Metals Company where he was a research metallurgist and holder of 108 patents for the company throughout his 15 years of work. Mr. Kesler also owned and operated Penguin Realty Company for approximately 15 years. He is survived by his children, Tamala L. Hepler and husband Kelley of Chester, VA, Judith K. Wainwright and husband Wally of Mechanicsville, VA, and Steve A. Kesler and wife Stephanie of Prince George, VA; grandchildren, Justin Wainwright, Craig Rosson, Matthew Rosson, and Jessica Butler; and three great-granddaughters. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will follow there in the chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with interment in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. Steve,
Very sorry to learn of your father's passing. The loss of a parent is a passage we must all make but difficult at best and one we are never fully prepared for. During this difficult time, keep in mind that the memories of your father will bring you much joy as the years go on and provide you comfort as you grieve now.
