Mattox, Lois W.

Lois W. Mattox, 87, of Disputanta, died Friday, July 11, 2008. She was the daughter of the late John L. and Blanch Martin Williams. She was a Sunday School Teacher for over 50 years at Shiloh Baptist Church of Carson, VA and Oakland Baptist Church of Disputanta. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Roy Lee Mattox; a son, Bob Mattox and wife, Marcie of Disputanta. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Livesay and Rev. Hugh Mayes officiating. The family will receive friends at Oakland Baptist Church Fellowship Hall after the services. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
