Edna Faison EURE, 82, a resident of Wakefield and the widow of Mills Edward Eure, died Sunday, July 6, 2008 in a Petersburg hospital. Born near Ivor, on June 6, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Dollie B. Faison and Martha Barrett Faison. She was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Marie Soulen.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna Jean Moore and her husband, Cal, of Waverly; a granddaughter, Tyler Stephenson; a sister, Dolly F. Murphy and her husband, Randolph, of Wakefield; and two brothers, Wilmer Faison and his wife, Betty, of Waverly and D. B. Faison of Colonial Heights. Edna was a homemaker, and her life revolved around and was devoted to her “girls,” Linda, Donna, and Tyler.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. in the Purviance Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Wakefield. Burial will follow in the Wakefield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at other times at Edna’s resident on Savedge Aveune in Wakefield
