Condolences

My husband, Tom, and I will always remember Aunt Evelyn as being one of the kindest people. We didn't get to see each other often due to living great distances apart, but always enjoyed spending time with her.

Our deepest sympathies and love are with the families.

I remember my Aunt Evelyn primarily from my youth, as family sometimes grows apart over the years. Now, in my mid-fifties living in New England, I recall some of her key traits. She seemed to me to have great strength and diplomacy in dealing with other people. I was also struck by her unequivocal loyalty to her loved ones, which I felt revealed itself in the conversations I would observe between her and other members of the family. Mostly, I recall Aunt Evelyn's great kindness to me on the occasions that I would visit her home with my Dad, Dick Ammons.

My best wishes to her children, my cousins, and hope for a peaceful transition for them to and through this time without her.

Evelyn was a wonderful person. She always made me smile when she came up to visit and talk with me. I will always remember her as a most kind and generous person. May the wonderful memories of her help you through this painful time.

Sincerely,
