Jeffrey Lynn Hill, 53, of Chester, Virginia, died Monday, June 23, 2008 at Retreat Hospital. Mr. Hill, born in Roanoke. Virginia, served in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Wilbur Hill. Survivors include a son, Jeffrey Glenn Hill and friend, Danyelle, of Roanoke, his mother, Marie Parrish Hill of Roanoke, sisters Dawn H. Prillaman and husband, Ike, of Virginia Beach and Brenda H. Siemon of Roanoke, companion and best friend, Sheila Eades, of Chester and her children, Nicholas Colgin of Ft. Bragg, NC and Jamie Colgin of Chester, Virginia. and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at 6 p.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home led by the Rev. Leon Burchett, Jr., associate pastor of Meadowood Church of God and the Rev. Shawn Franco of Cornerstone Church, Chester.
